Re-embarking on teaching…

I taught my first class today – 2 periods of English with 1/3. The kids are GREAT! They are vocal, smart and funny I know that I am going to love teaching this class. My homework for today is to memorize all their names so that I can give them the prizes tomorrow.

Announcing Ms Lim’s return to CCKSS… this time, as a student-teacher on practicum for 10 weeks starting in February, then I’ll be back as a permanent teacher from the 2nd semester onward. YAY! I’m so looking forward to seeing all of you on a daily basis! It took me a while to get to sleep last night just thinking about this

Just a quick announcement to keep you in the know. About 10 days ago, my family said farewell to our dearest yellow kangtao.com van as it had come to the end of its 10 years. It was sad to see the one of a kind van go but this is how things work in Singapore. So, it’ll be a lot harder to identify me on the road now

Yes, I had a model of the Singapore Flyer attached to my back and my NIE peer had a giant orchid attached to her. We moved around with great difficulty, trying not to knock anyone out along the way :p

Free stuff!

Hi everyone!

My family’s been doing some spring-cleaning and we have a LOT of stuff to give away. In fact, I’ve laid everything out in the spare bedroom so when you come on Sunday, have a look and take whatever you want. The vast array of things (both new as well as good second hand stuff) include: crockery (tonnes of cups, plates, bowls, etc.), clothing, bags, caps (think with my bag and hat collection, I can open a shop!), stationary, games, books, etc. Come over and browse… it’s like a garage sale, only not in a garage and all things are FREE!
